Travis County Admin Building, Elevator 8 Restoration

A.Project Identification: Refurbishment of one hydraulic elevator located at the Travis County Administration Building, 700 Lavaca, Austin, Texas. The elevator (2 stop) is located at the southwest sector of the facility. B. Project Summary: Provide all required supervision, labor, equipment, material and tools necessary to completely refurbish the single passenger hydraulic elevator (2 stop). All work to be completed while building remains open and accessible to public. Any noisy work activities may need to be done after hours. Work includes: Removal and disposal of replaced equipment items from site. Replacement of hydraulic pump unit. Replacement of elevator controls. Replacement of door operators. Installation of new car operating panels. Installation of new hall fixtures. Install new conductors including traveling cables and all hoistway conductors. Upgrade interior of passenger elevator cab. Replace drop ceiling with LED down lights. Interface new passenger elevator controllers with existing fire alarm system. Perform acceptance tests and provide proper operations and maintenance manuals.
