Resurfacing Tennis and Basketball Courts for Recreation Department

Scope: The project consists of the design, repair and resurfacing of the specified courts below. Proposers must be prepared to comply with all state, federal and local requirements for play equipment. The winning party is responsible for cleanup of site and removal of debris at completion of project. Pressure wash court to remove all loose and un-bonded material. Fill cracks with sand, Portland cement and acrylic latex which will form a grout. Fill any low-lying areas (birdbaths) with the same solution as crack patch with hopes to decrease standing water 20% to 60%. Apply 400’ Rite-way Crack System. Apply 6” fiber tape rolled with a tape machine to flatten. Apply 18” polyester cloth over micro with acry-glue. Apply 6” fiberglass membrane over all edges of 18” polyester cloth with acry-glue. Smooth over several times with heavy patch mix before starting the surface system. Apply 1 coat of leveling resurface. Apply 2 coats of acrylic color. Apply tennis, pickle ball and Jr Lines. Remove all evidence of work from job site.
