Description | The Erie County Water Authority will receive separate, sealed bids for purchasing PLC equipment for the ERIE COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY, Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant Filtration Piping, Valve, and Underdrain System Improvements, 722 Sturgeon Point Road, Derby, NY, 14047. The contract consists of furnishing Goods and Special Services associated with the valves and actuators. Installation of the Goods is not part of this Contract. Owner as "Buyer" will execute a Procurement Contract with Seller for the procurement of Goods and Special Services for MP-090-P06, PLC equipment Procurement, Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant, Filtration Piping Valve, and Underdrain System Improvements. The Goods to be provided through the Procurement Contract shall be furnished and delivered to the Point of Destination for installation by Contractor. Owner will assign said Procurement Contract to Contractor as set forth in the Procurement Agreement. Contractor will accept the assignment, as Buyer (Contractor/Assignee), and will be responsible to Owner for the performance of obligations by Seller, which will become a Subcontractor or Supplier to Contractor. When permitted, members of the public may be present to observe the bid opening. All attendees must bring a government-issued photo identification (driver's license preferred) and check-in with the ECWA receptionist before being allowed entry to the bid opening. Whenever the Erie County Water Authority is operating under a Declaration of Emergency due to a pandemic or other general state of emergencies, members of the public may be precluded from being present at such bid opening. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. In accordance with State Finance Law 139-j and 139-k, all questions about meaning or intent of the bidding documents shall be submitted to the designated contact person in writing. The Erie County Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to accept any Bid deemed to be for the best interest of the Erie County Water Authority even though the Bid chosen may result in the award of the Procurement Contract to a Bidder whose Bid is not mathematically lowest. |
