Description

The City of Mountlake Terrace solicits interest from qualified multidisciplinary consulting firms with expertise in land use planning and zoning, housing policy, visioning, demographic analysis, environmental analysis/SEPA, community engagement, and other aspects of comprehensive planning, to assist the City in updating its Comprehensive Plan for the 2024-2044 Periodic Update cycle, as mandated by the Growth Management Act. The City is also seeking consultant support to update the Comprehensive Plan Environmental Impact Statement ("EIS"), last updated in 1983. The expected timeline for the Comprehensive Plan Update is to begin in April 2023, with a completion timeline of December 2024. The City of Mountlake Terrace in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all respondents that it will affirmatively insure that in any agreement entered into pursuant to this solicitation, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit responses to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
