Resident Door Replacements

Replace entry doors (into residents apartments) at above apartment complex. See attached pictures. • There are 32 total resident doors needing replaced along with 6 maintenance doors to total 38 doors getting replaced. (Pictures of doors for example on last page of proposal) Contractor will have to meausre doors as maintenance doors are different sizes and tenant doors will have left and right swing. • We would prefer to use at least a 30 minute fire door but price for a 30 minute and 45 minute in bid (color to be determined). • Doors need to be double bored and we will supply the new door knobs and deadbolts. • Include appropriate door hardware for the type of door included in your bid. • Replace thresholds and casings as necessary. • Caulk around both sides of door. • If surrounding walls receive any damage during the installation process, those areas will need to be repaired. • If any unknown issues arise during the performance of work, and issues need to be addressed in order for work to be completed in a satisfactory manner, please notify MCHA immediately to address the issue. • The contractor shall be responsible for all repairs to damage of building(s), drives, fences, landscaping, etc. caused by their employees or vendors during the work process. All repairs shall be made to owner’s satisfaction at contractor’s expense. • Work must be complete by contract date • Contractors are welcome to visit the property at their convenience
