Description

As part of Governor Cuomos Pedestrian Safety Action Plan this project will upgrade all pedestrian facilities in accordance with the American Disabilities Act. Sidewalks, curb ramps and pedestrian warning devices will be upgraded on Route 5 (Erie Blvd.) between Bridge Street and East Genesee Street in the Town of DeWitt and at various locations within Onondaga and Cortland counties. This project will also mill and overlay the top 4 inches of asphalt surface in both directions of Route 5 from Bridge Street to Route 92 in the Town of DeWitt, a distance of approximately 1.08 miles. Traffic will be maintained on-site using daily lane closures.
