Description

The scope of work (SOW) entails installation and repair or replacement of the existing interior storm drainage insulation. EOC staff have noticed multiple signs of apparent roof leaks within the recently expanded EOC. The County contacted the roofing and mechanical contractors for the structure. No leaks were identified due to roof or storm drainage installations. The County believes the leaks originate from a storm drainage pipe that is uninsulated or improperly insulated, thus creating condensation, which drops onto the surfaces below. The EOC, located at 560 S Keeneland Drive in Richmond, was expanded between 2014–2016, adding square footage to the north and east sides and a vehicular bay on the south side. The east side EOC expansion increased the building foundation (footprint), thus changing the existing roofline and drainage system
