Timber Sale on Certain State Lands in Covington County

The timber made the subject of this notice is located on the following described lands: Covington County, Alabama, Township 2 North, Range 14 East Section 28 a portion of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4, containing 29 acres more or less to be clear cut. VOLUMES: The estimated timber volumes are as follows: Pine Pulpwood 2,021 TONS Pine Canterwood 219 TONS Pine Chip-N-Saw 1,311 TONS Pine Poles 816 TONS Hardwood Pulpwood 47 TONS Volumes are not guaranteed and all bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of estimated quantity. TIMBER: The timber to be sold is all planted pine and hardwood trees within the planted pines that comprise the sale area. The external boundaries of the sale area are yellow-painted property boundaries and natural mixed pine/hardwood timber stands.
