Description | The University of Kentucky is requesting the services of a consultant to provide design services for the Asset Preservation Pool White Hall Classroom Building Renovation - Design Only project located at the University of Kentucky, 140 Patterson Drive, Lexington, KY. The design team's SF330 submittal should include ONLY the names of individuals that will comprise the project team, clearly indicating the specific role each will play in the overall project from schematic design (Phase 1) through contract administration (Phase 5). This is necessary for the primary local design firm, National Design firm (if included) as well as for each technical consultant that the prime firm plans to use on the project. Members of the consulting team should have relevant experience including modernizing classroom buildings in a higher education setting or similar higher education project experience. Include a list of projects highlighting this experience. The University of Kentucky seeks the services of a full design team including Local Architect and a National Architect (if deemed important to show expertise in the project execution), and all other applicable consultants to renovate the existing facility. The program includes the major renovation of existing classrooms so that they meet the needs of faculty and students, MEP upgrades, and general building improvements. It is also anticipated that the building envelope will require substantial renovation. Note that the existing public restrooms have been recently renovated and are not anticipated to be a part of this scope of work. The Consultant's Phase 1, 2 & 3 cost estimate submittals for the project are not to exceed this specified amount. Budget compatibility is the responsibility of the Consultant and design of the project beyond the available construction dollars listed above is unacceptable. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. |
