B--New Requirement- Asbestos Air Monitoring- USCG Station Oswego

Contract work shall encompass the following items of work as described in these specifications. Specifically, the contractor shall: 1. Conduct air quality testing one day before, every day during and one day after the removal of approximately 1,700 square feet of asbestos tiles, carpet, and mastic from living areas in the top floor of the main building in accordance with guidelines and techniques identified in NY Code Rule 56. 2. Contractor will conduct PCM air sample analysis per NIOSH 7400 24- 48hr. (approximately 100 samples) 3. All air quality testing will be in accordance with New York state regulations. Regulations available at health.ny.gov 4. Contractor will provide visual inspection and final closeout report upon completion of testing. 5. The contractor air quality testing will be conducted in conjunction with the work described in synopsis/solicitation #: 2121301CV570.
