Charles Carroll Plaza Revitalization Project Phase 2

This Project will proceed under 3 lump sum contracts as follows: GC - General Construction, Estimate: $10,005,054.00 EC - Electrical: $ 821,064.00 PC - Plumbing: $ 235,276.00 This Project consists of waterproofing the existing Genesee Crossroads Garage beneath the existing Charles Carroll Park Plaza. The existing Charles Carroll Park Plaza will be reconfigured with new accessible concrete pathways, cast-in-place concrete retaining walls, metal railings, stairs, amphitheater seating, lighting, lawn areas, landscaping, and site amenities. The site amenities include bench seating, metal sculptural elements, dolomite boulders, canopy structure and Genesee Riverway trail signage. Repairs to the garage roof will be performed upon completion of the waterproofing. A connection will be finalized to the Phase 1 improvements (Sister Cities bridge).The scope of the work consists of, but is not limited to, demolition of the existing plaza and walls, asbestos abatement and limited asbestos containing materials, waterproofing of existing subsurface garage, concrete repair in the garage, placement of a concrete walkways, cast-in-place walls, granite curbing and landscaping areas on the plaza, removal and replacement of lighting and work zone traffic control.
