Description

Youngstown State’s utility distribution system includes an electrical substation, central utility plant, direct bury lines and cables and a tunnel distribution system that contains steam lines, chilled water lines, and electrical and data wiring. Sections of this tunnel system are in need of upgrades/repair/replacement along with the utility lines within. Also, new buildings recently constructed, and facilities considered for future expansion,will need to have these utilities extended to them for consistency and efficiency. This project will be the evaluation, design, and construction management of these utility distribution systems upgrades, expansions, repairs and replacements
