Description

Services to include: Disconnect, remove, and dispose of existing outdoor 30 ton air-cooled chiller, including ethylene glycol solution and refrigerant. Disconnect power to electrically-powered equipment prior to demolition. Remove chiller in its entirety. Remove existing outdoor pipe insulation and replace with new weather type pipe insulation. Remove old 200 AMP, three (3) phase, 250-volt disconnect and install new 200 AMP, three (3) phase, 250-volt weatherproof disconnect including a surge arrestor. The contractor shall furnish and install all required new equipment and piping. They shall be responsible for their own handling, storage, rigging and setting up of all equipment and materials. All work shall be performed in a neat and workman like manner. Haul all demolished material from the Project site. Handle and dispose of in accordance with National, State, and Local regulations. Prior to demolition, refrigerant shall be evacuated and captured in full compliance with the Clean Air Act; using only technicians with the proper refrigerant license as according to law, stored in approved containers, and shipped to a licensed refrigerant recycling facility all as required by the United States Environmental Protection Agency
