Description | The City of San Juan Capistrano is requesting proposals for an ALTA/NSPS land title survey of the City's property generally located at 28432 Calle Arroyo, San Juan Capistrano (Surveyed Property). The Surveyed Property is Assessor's Parcel Number 664-971-01 and consists of Lot A of Tract No. 8485. The general location of the Surveyed Property is shown in Attachment 1, and a more detailed map of the Surveyed Property is shown in Attachment 2. Prior to submitting a proposal, the proposer should set a time and date to walk the site with the City representative listed below for site familiarization purposes. The proposer shall also conduct a preliminary review of record information available from the County Surveyor's office and a brief field reconnaissance of existing monumentation prior to submittal of a proposal. The survey is not for purposes of design or construction of a public works project. Nevertheless, the proposers must determine whether, on this basis, prevailing wage requirements are applicable to the survey work. It is understood that the work required to complete the services might be impacted by information discovered during the course of the work. Where it is not feasible to submit fixed fee amounts the proposer should submit reasonable fee estimates with the understanding that exceeding the fee estimates must be justified and submitted for approval by the City in advance of performing additional work. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. |
