Description | As of January 23, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Work description: Provide all labor, services and materials necessary for: the removal, inspection, repair, or replacement of the well pump at Well No. 10; installation of new variable frequency drives for Well No. 10 pump and Booster Pump No. 2; inspection of the existing 300,000 gallon underground reinforced concrete water storage reservoir; and all other work necessary for a complete and functional well pump and variable frequency drive installations as shown, specified, or required. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security equal to ten (10) percent of the Bid in the form of a Bid Bond written by a company properly licensed in Wisconsin, a certified check or a cashiers check. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond on forms provided in the Specifications and Contract Documents, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. The City of Burlington, in accordance with the Laws of the State of Wisconsin, hereby notifies all Bidders that the City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive minor informalities or technicalities, to advertise for new bids, or to request confirmation or clarification from any bidder regarding information contained in a bid. The City will affirmatively ensure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to a responsible and responsive Bidder without discrimination on the ground of race, color or national origin, but the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids received and to waive formalities. Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of sixty (60) days after submission. |
