Electrical Wiring and Fixtures

The City of North Augusta seeks proposals from licensed electrical contractors to install new electrical wiring and fixtures at the Citys Materials Recovery Facility located at 67 Claypit Road North Augusta, South Carolina 29841. 1. The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring the project complies with all local, state and federal regulatory requirements. 2. The contractor shall be required to obtain a City of North Augusta Business License. 3. Requests for payments shall be submitted by invoice and include; City of North Augusta purchase order number, invoice number, itemized material list, labor and any state tax. 4. The City of North Augusta reserves the right to add or reduce the quantities of work from the Contract without penalty. Any additional work request or additional expenses that deviate from the scope of work shall be submitted by the Contractor and approved by the City of North Augusta prior to commencement of any work. Contractor shall provide all materials, plan details, labor and equipment to provide for a complete fully functional electrical system. 2. Contractor shall be required to obtain a City of North Augusta electrical permit. 3. Install 24 LED Linear High Bay LHB148 lights with cord and support cables. Lights shall be controlled by 3 way switches. Each light shall have a Plug and receptacle for disconnecting. 4. Install 4- 120v photo controlled floodlights on each corner of the building. 5. Install dual head emergency lights with battery backup above each walk in door. (attached life safety plan) 6. Install 3- 120v receptacles. Location TBD Install a main 240v electrical feed connection to emergency fire sprinkler pump. (Location front of building left corner).
