Description | Asphalt work (repairs and replacement) for a one year period with up to four 1-yr renewal options. Specific Requirements: Asphalt Work services to include: RR HMA SX PG 64 – 22-5/8 patching by Square Yard 1. 8” 2. 5” 3. 4” 4. 2” 2” Overlay with Patromat by Square Yard Infrared Patching – 5” Thick by Square Yard 1. Add new asphalt 2. Compact with vibrating roller 3. Clean up process 4. Clean the damaged Areas of all dirt and debris 5. Heat the asphalt to a working temp of 300° F by the infrared process 6. Rake heated area to a depth of 2” and remove any infrared material Crack Seal by Linear feet 1. Clean and fill cracks with Vance Brothers #3405 Hot Pour Rubberized Crack Sealer 2. Transition crack seal (concrete to asphalt) joint will be sealed 3. All cracks ¼” or greater will be sealed unless otherwise specified Seal Coat by Square Feet 1. Pavement sealer (two full coats) 2. Existing pavement will be cleaned and oil spots will be primed where applicable 1. To include Striping (re-striping) 2. Parking Lot/Play Pad as existing lay out (unless otherwisespecified) 3. Water base / traffic paint “white, yellow, red, blue” Any and all additional charges and fees must be included in the proposal; no additional fees or charges will be accepted after the fact. PMM - Polymer Modified Master / Seal applied at 58-62% solids The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, vehicles and other items necessary to complete the project. The Contractor shall be responsible for: Installation complying with manufacturers recommended products and procedures; all work must be completed in a professional manor and meet all local and state statutes. Contractor must fence off or block the work zone during project. Building security and public safety within the work area is required. Children may be present. Please use extra precautions to provide a safe environment at all times. The School District’s authorized representative(s) shall, at all times, have access to the work whenever it is in preparation or progress. These District representatives reserve the right to reject, or require the correction, of any materials or workmanship that, in their opinion, fails to meet specifications or industry standards. An rejected materials shall be promptly removed from the site by the vendor or his representative. Warranty period shall be a minimum of 1 year for all work performed. |
