Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin Region requires the recoating of the Tyzack Tank at Red Fleet Dam. The Tyzack Tank coating project includes removing the existing coatings from the interior and exterior of the steel regulating tank. After removal, new coats will be applied to protect the integrity of the steel. The inside of the tank will be coated with a material that is drinking water safe. There will be also be spot coating repairs along the 14-inch diameter outlet pipe as needed. Coating to be removed has been identified to contain lead.
