Description

Contractor shall be responsible for the proper disposal of, and shall properly dispose of, all debris material from the site of the work. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining, and shall obtain, all appropriate federal, state and local permits, including permits from the county enforcing agency or municipal enforcing agency in accordance with Part 91 of Act 451 of the Michigan Public Acts of 1994. Contractor shall be responsible for complying, and shall comply, with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations, and shall be responsible for satisfying, and shall satisfy, all permit requirements for the disposal of earth, concrete, asphalt, used oil, chemicals, asbestos, and any and all other debris from the site of the work. Contractor shall not dispose, or allow the disposal, of any materials from the site of the work into or near any wetlands, lakes or streams or other protected areas without the express permission of the local municipality, the Department of Natural Resources or the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, as applicable, or other applicable governmental authorities, even if such disposal is requested or allowed by the owner of such property. A contract to furnish and install traffic signal detection equipment and other miscellaneous related items of work at various locations in Oakland County, Michigan.
