Downtown Sidewalk Snow Clearing

The City of Framingham (City), invites sealed bids for the manual removal of snow from downtown sidewalks in conjunction with City equipment and personnel. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities and technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Questions concerning this invitation for bids must be submitted in writing before 10:00 A.M. on November 17, 2022 on Vendor Registry. Bids which are incomplete, conditional or obscure, or which contain any additions not called for, or which otherwise do not conform to the requirements of the applicable statutes or to the requirements for submission set forth herein will be rejected as non-responsive. work amounting to not less than 50 percent (50%) for labor and 50 percent (50%) for materials of the original total Contract Price. The Contractor shall use reasonable efforts to utilize and subcontract with qualified Minority Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) firms for participation on this contract. Utilization of MBE and WBE firms shall be in accordance with certification criteria established by SOMBA or other certification sources acceptable to the City.
