Description | The Tribal Lands Office is accepting proposals on the Flathead Indian Reservation, in Western Montana. The location is as follows: Big Arm, Montana - Big Arm General Store building This desirable site is just off southbound Highway 93 and accessible to a high volume of north and southbound traffic. This ideal location has endless possibilities. Payment of all utilities will be required additional to any bid. This site includes a building previously used as a store as well as a large shop area. The site also includes an apartment in the upper level of the building. Lease terms are negotiable. Any lease is subject to the review and approval of the DOI BIA Flathead Agency Superintendent and proposed rent or lease fee is subject to review considering the current appraisal of record. General Request for Proposal Elements: RFP responses shall include: (1) Qualifications of personnel involved in the business along with appropriate credentials and experience. Resumes of all individuals who may be involved in the project. (2) Description of ability to enter into a business lease or revocable permit and to meet all financial and lease obligations in a timely manner. (3) Financial stability sufficient to demonstrate ability to pay the lease on a monthly basis and in a timely manner. Bonding may be required. (4) Liability Insurance proof that substantiates that the respondent to the RFP is a bonafide business owner. Note - liability is a requirement of any business lease. This must include the CSKT Tribes (land owner) as a co-insured. (5) Description of recent relevant experience that supports the proposal. (6) Three references and contact information identified for each individual involved in any aspect of the work. Appropriate background checks may be conducted on the successful applicant/s. Please note business owner as the responsible party for negotiated items and for lease signature and acceptance. (7) The bid and proposal response should be well detailed.
