Description | This contract provides for improvements along the left bank of the Puyallup River between River Mile 27.4 to 28.4 and includes the construction of (40) engineered logjams consisting of driven un-treated timber piles, large wood, chain lashing, racking, slash, and dolos (8-ton precast concrete units). It also includes approximately 2,800 linear feet of existing levee removal, and the construction of an approximate 150 LF ‘Levee Terminus’ section consisting of large onsite salvaged levee rock. Work includes selective clearing and re-incorporation of woody material into project elements. The project requires procurement of (63) dolos and large quantities of logs, slash, and racking material. It also includes construction of gravel access road, excavation and grading, erosion control, planting, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. |
