County Route 16 Box Culvert Replacement

Furnish and deliver a new multi-section pre-cast concrete box culvert, to the dimensions and specifications shown on the project drawings; the structure shall be load rated for HS-25/HL-93. Concrete shall be 6,000 psi at 28-day strength, and reinforced with epoxy coated bars, as shown. Joints shall be of the shouldered male and female type, and shall be formed in such a manner as to provide a watertight seal upon proper installation. Provide all casted elements and fasteners for connections to all four (4) headwalls, guiderail anchorage, and keyways for connections to both (2) cut-off walls. Provide draw connectors, fasteners, butyl seal, and all other appurtenances necessary for a completely installed product. Provide 4” diameter weep holes, at the locations shown on the project drawings. The pre-cast concrete sections shall be clearly marked for sequencing, to assure that those sections fabricated to connect to pre-cast concrete headwalls above shall be installed in the proper linear location.
