Description

The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region (WAPA) has a requirement for 48 volt telecommunications batteries, racks and spill containment at three (3) locations. At each location, the vendor will install one (1) bank of 48 volt communications batteries, including installation of batteries and racks. The batteries shall be flooded-cell lead-acid calcium batteries for Telecommunications application. At each location: 1.The vendor shall deliver, install, and test one 48 VDC nominal (24 cells) of lead-acidflooded cell battery per these specifications. This shall include a two-tier battery rack. 2.The vendor shall assemble and install the new battery bank. This shall include installingthe two-tier rack, all inter-cell jumpers, safety covers and spill containment. 3.The vendor shall remove and recycle the existing battery bank, except where noted.
