Southeast Dam Package - Veto Lake Dam Rehabilitation Project

This project is located in southeast Ohio at Veto Lake Wildlife Area; Lake Road, Dunham Township, Ohio 45784. To reach the Veto Lake Dam from Belpre, Ohio, take State Route 7 west to the State Route 339 exit toward Beverly. Take State Route 339 north for 4.2 miles to Veto Road. Turn east and travel approximately 1.0 mile to Lake Road. Turn north and travel approximately 0.5 miles to arrive on site. The project involves rehabilitation of the existing concrete spillway, rehabilitation and modification of the existing dam control tower, rehabilitation of the primary and secondary earthen embankments, installation of a control tower access bridge, drainage culvert, access path and roads, and other associated work. The project includes afforestation in the project vicinity to offset the carbon footprint of construction. The project will include any utility coordination and property access coordination required to complete the work.
