Rose Street (Central to Peach) Utility Upgrades - Los Alamos County

WATER PRODUCTION - Rose Street (Public Works Road Project) This project will be a joint project between DPU and the Public Works Department to re-pave the roadway and replace utility infrastructure beneath the new road. The project will be from Central Avenue to Peach Street. 1950 vintage sections of waterlines will be replaced, and some undersized gas pipelines will be replaced. The utility portion of the project will be funded by the profit transfer monies allocated to the DPU by the County Council. Project is included County of Los Alamos FY 2023 - Adopted Budgets. As of November 1, 2022, a design team has not been identified and a construction timeline has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
