RFP D/B - Design-Build Project RFP 40' X 60' Warehouse Building

Design and Construction of a 40' x 60' x 16' wood framed pole building structure for use as a warehouse facility. Miscellaneous sitework and utility connections. Completion Date: 200 Calendar Days After Notice to Proceed. All proposals shall be sealed and marked as proposal for: Quality Liquid Feeds Warehouse Building Wellsville, Ohio and addressed to Columbiana County Port Authority, and delivered or received by mail prior to the opening date and time. Mailed bids shall be sent to the Columbiana County Port Authority, 7860 Lincole Place, Lisbon, Ohio 44432. Each proposal shall be made upon the blanks furnished with the Proposal Documents. The bidders may be required to give references and such other detailed information as will enable the owner to judge responsibility, experience, skill, and financial standing. Bid from contractors inexperienced in this particular type of work will not be awarded a contract. Attention is called to the prevailing wage rates for publicly funded improvements in Columbiana County, Ohio to be paid in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4115. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond with an approved surety company in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid as surety for the execution of the contract. A certified check on some solvent bank drawn and made payable to the Columbiana County Port Authority, in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid will be accepted in lieu of said bond. Proposals will only be opened and/or received from Bonafide Proposal Document Holders, listed on the Criteria Engineer s proposal document holders list. Any proposal(s) received by a Non-Bonafide proposal document holder, will be deemed invalid. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals, or to waive any informalities or irregularities and to award to the lowest and best responsible proposer.
