Whites Bridge Pond Station Improvements - City of New Britain

Site work and renovation of a civil project in New Britain, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project. The six pumps at the White Bridge Pond pumping station were installed in the 1920's while still in operation they are inefficient, Obsolete and cannot pump their Rated Capacity of three Million Gallons per day. the Pumps Need to be replaced with electrically efficient Motors. Additionally the pond intake structure needs to upgraded. As of June 30, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2025. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
