Description

(1): Job JKU0232 Route 70, 35, 49, 29 CASS, CLAY, JACKSON, PLATTE County. Pavement marking on I-70, I-35, I-49 and I-29, the total length of improvement being 97.82 miles. Range: 1M to 2.5M Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Cashier's Check, Drawn on Any Bank or Trust Company and Payable to "Director of Revenue, Credit State Road Fund", or Bidders May Submit a Bid Bond for Each Project Bid or an Annual Bid Bond That Would Cover All Projects Bid for a Twelve Month Beginning July 1 and Ending June 30 of Each Missouri State Fiscal Year. Annual Bid Bond Forms Must Be Submitted by June 15 of Each Year. Bid bonds must be Submitted on a form furnished by the commission, executed by the bidder and corporate surety, and naming the "State of Missouri, acting by and Through the Missouri highways and transportation commission", as obligee) for an amount (or penal sum) equal to 5% or more of the bid, Which check or bond shall be deposited with the commission as a guaranty and forfeited in the event the bidder is found to be the successful bidder and fails to comply with the terms of the request for bid. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Insure That in Any Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Will Be Afforded Full Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, Religion, Creed, Sex, Age, Ancestry, or National Origin in Consideration for an Award. The Right Is Reserved by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission to Reject Any or All Bids. Any Contractor Who Desires to Bid on the Project(S) Involved in the Bid Opening Must Have a Contractor Questionnaire on File in the Office of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission at Least Seven Full Days (168 Hours) Prior to the Time of Bid Opening. A New Contractor Questionnaire Must Be Filed Annually Except That the Commission May Request a New Questionnaire at Any Time.
