Description of Work: The proposed work is officially known as Section 23-00000-00-GM The Group IV work includes EARTH EXCAVATION 1,463.00 CU YD; GEOTECH FAB F/GR STAB 4,195.00 SQ YD; AGG BASE CSE B 4 1641.00 SQ YD; AGG BASE CSE B 7 604.00 SQ YD; AGG BASE CSE B 10 3,585.00 SQ YD; BIT MATLS TACK CT 10,585.00 POUND; HMA BC IL -19.0 N50 509.00 TON; HMA SC IL-19.5 C N50 3,018.00 TON; PC CONC SIDEWALK 5 9,240.00 SQ FT; PAVEMENT REMOVAL 3,859.00 SQ YD; HMA SURF REM 2 23,521.00 SQ YD; COMB CURB GUTTER REM 2,681.00 FOOT, SIDEWALK REMOVAL 9,003.00 SQ FT; CL D PATCH T1 6 112.00 SQ YD; CL D PATCH T2 6 142.00 SQ YD; CL D PATCH T3 6 178.00 SQ YD; CL D PATCH T4 6 611.00 SQ YD; COMB CC &G TB6.12 2,886.00 SD FT on various streets throughout the City. A proposal guarantee by bank cashier's check, certified check or proposal bid bond in accordance with the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction" prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation adopted April 1, 2016, will be required. A surety bond for the full amount of the award will be required. The "prevailing rate of wages" as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall apply to this project. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
