Superstructure Replacement

Superstructure Replacement Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished or downloaded from the above website and must contain the name of every person interested therein. The Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the amount bid or a Certified or Cashier's Check or a Letter of Credit in an amount of at least 10% ofthe amount bid. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their product. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements ofOhio Administrative Code Chapter 123, Governor's Executive order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. This project is classified as a "Locally Administered Transportation Project" with Sandusky County administering the project and the Ohio Department of Transportation providing project oversight. All Contractors must be ODOT pre-qualified. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Sandusky County pursuant to the Davis Bacon Act. The completion date for the SAN-CR 57-2.22 Superstructure Replacement (PIP# 117342) is September 15, 2023 The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities in any bid. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity.
