Bathhouse/Toilet Building Renovations

The purpose of this asbestos survey was to sample and analyze suspect Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) which could present an exposure risk during potential demolition or renovation activities. The owner or operator of a demolition / renovation activity and prior to the start of that activity is required to thoroughly inspect the affected facility for the presence of asbestos including Category I and Category II Non-Friable ACM per the National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) (40 CFR, Part 61, Subpart M). The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection is charged with enforcement of the NESHAP standards in the State of West Virginia. The suspect materials sampled during the survey were limited to accessible areas within the interior and exterior of the building. The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources to establish a contract for the construction of new bathhouse facilities and renovations at Kanawha State Forest per the attached specifications, terms and conditions, project manual and project drawings. Project Location: Kanawha State Forest Kanawha State Forest Drive Charleston, West Virginia 25314 SCOPE- Selective demolition of existing facilities, renovation and construction of new bathhouse and toilet buildings, related utility and site work, and other incidental construction as indicated on the drawings and specifications.
