Description

The proposed building is to contain 185 residential units (33 studios, 55 one-bedroom, 83 two-bedroom, and 14 three-bedroom). 19 units would be offered as affirmatively furthering fair housing (AFFH) units at 60% AMI. Resident amenities include a fitness center, meeting rooms, a pet spa, lounge, co-working space, a rooftop deck, and an outdoor pool. The twelve residential stories would lie above a three-story parking garage containing 142 mechanically stacked parking spaces and 18 standard parking spaces. The mechanical spaces would be accessed through a driveway from King Street, while the standard parking spaces would be accessed via a separate driveway from Summerfield Place. A 65-space bicycle storage room is also provided within the garage, with direct access to King Street through a separate entrance. The main pedestrian entrance would access King Street from a small entry plaza. A bike rack is proposed near this plaza. The existing sidewalks on the two street frontages are to be replaced, and would include crosswalks along the driveways.
