Description

Steam and condensate piping are located underground with steam manholes located at regular intervals along its length. The piping is a pre-engineered system consisting of a steel carrier pipe (steam or condensate), insulation, and an external steel conduit pipe which is coated to resist rusting. This piping system is direct buried approximately ten (10) feet below grade, with the steam and condensate piping each in their own separate conduits. The Design-Build Contractor shall bear the burden of providing properly selected and installed equipment in order to meet the Government’s performance requirements as outlined in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work.
