Water Pumps and Motors Maintenance and Repair

Service Work and/or Materials for the maintenance and repair of its water pumps and motors in service at various locations within the City. The resulting contract shall be for a period of 24 months with an option to renew for an additional 12 months. Semiannual Maintenance : Check stuffing box glands for free movement; Clean and oil gland bolts; Inspect packing to determine whether it requires replacement; Pump and driver alignment are to be checked and corrected if necessary; Oil lubricated bearings are to be drained and refilled with fresh oil; Grease lubricated bearings are to be checked for grease content and of suitable consistency.

Division 44 -	Pollution and Waste Control Equipment, Water Pollution Control Equipment.
