2023 Public Works Facilities Building Painting Project

The Village of Mahomet is accepting sealed proposals to perform the 2023 Public Works Facilities Building Painting Project. Sealed bids will be received at the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office, 503 E. Main Street at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Electronically mailed bids will not be accepted. This project consists of the painting exterior walls, roofs, trim, etc. on four metal buildings at two locations: two (2) buildings at 218 S. Lake of the Woods Road and two (2) buildings at 806 Center Street, Mahomet, IL 61853. The entire scope of work can be found in the bid documents. Project Completion date is August 11, 2023. Bid documents may be obtained at the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office, 503 E. Main Street, Mahomet, IL 61853, (217) 586-4456, ext. 120. Please contact Eric Crowley, Village Transportation Superintendent, at ecrowley@mahomet-il.gov with any questions regarding this project. The Village of Mahomet reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to waive any formality or technicality in any bids in the interest of the Village. When bidding, take into consideration any and all preparation work needed, including, but not limited to, pressure washing, prime coating, etc. The painting will consist of roofs, exterior walls, gutters, downspouts, soffit, fascia, outside corners, inside corners, J-trim and other trim pieces, and seven (7) overhead doors (at location #2). There will NO painting of entry doors, door frames, windows, or window frames other than the previously mentioned trim pieces.
