Road Materials and Equipment Bid

Approximate quantities of the following materials: CONTRACT #1 1. 3,000 tons #8 Aggregate 2. 3,500 tons #67 Aggregate 3. 1,500 tons #2A Aggregate 4. 1,000 tons #3 Aggregate 5. 1,000 tons #4 Aggregate 6. 500 tons R-4 Aggregate 7. 500 tons Limestone Sand CONTRACT #2 10,000 gallons LSD on road Diesel Fuel An escalator clause will apply. 24-hour 7-day emergency service is required. Bid is to be based on the Pittsburgh Opis Average and a copy is to be attached to the bid. Tank lease required with cost of lease for bid year. Tank Requirements: 1,000 gallon, double wall, pump 20-25gpm, emergency vents, fill containment, at a glance gauge, leak gauge, properly decaled per NFDA. Winning bidder is required to send out a copy of the Pittsburgh Opis Rack Average with each invoice. Location, quickness of delivery and emergency delivery is also considered when awarding the bid. Envelope must be marked “ROAD MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT BID” CONTRACT #3 The following road materials and equipment are to be bid as one contract. Envelope must be marked “ROAD MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT BID” The following materials to be delivered as directed. 1. 35,000 gallons E-3 Emulsion (CRS-2) 2. 45,000 gallons E-5 (CMS-2) or HFMS-2 Also being bid is the equipment rental listed below for approximately 50 hours more or less of work. Ten (10) miles of chipping and three (3) miles of paving. 1. Skid Loader with milling head 2. Rubber Tire Front Loader with 3 Yards Capacity 3. Chip Spreader capable of 1Ž2’ to 20’ width in one pass 4. 2 Rubber Tire Rollers 5. 5-22 Ton or more Tri-axle dump trucks or equivalent. 6. Pugmill 7.Paver capable of paving 20 ft width in one pass 8.Ten Ton Steel Roller 9.Motorized Broom 10.Supervisor with pick up truck to include all signs and hand tools All items must be bid. All chipping to be done by September 30, 2021. All work is to be guaranteed for twelve (12) months.
