Description The new chiller will be replacing the existing McQuay chiller (Model: ALS218C27-ER11, Serial: STNU021000130) and it will be expected to perform at the same or greater capacity. The following work is expected to be completed during installation:-Isolate McQuay chiller from chilled water system by turning valves at chiller.-Remove glycol from chiller and set aside for re-use.-Lock out power feeding chiller and disconnect from chiller.-Disconnect control circuits.-Disconnect all chilled water piping from unit.-Remove existing chiller from equipment pad.-Set New Chiller on pad.-Reconfigure existing piping and connect to new chiller.-Properly insulate chilled water lines from where they come out of ground to chiller connections.-Insulation will be 1.5" fiberglass with a PVC jacket-Reconnect existing power circuit to new chiller.-Existing fuses and power wiring circuit will be reused.-Reconnect control circuit conduit-Unit will be BacNct ready. Control wires to be installed/landed bycontrol contractor.-Removed glycol will be re-installed into chilled water system and airpurged from chiller.-Start-up and check-out by factory technician.-Rigging and lift equipment arc to be included in the proposal.
