Description | This Contract consists of demolition of existing Travel Plaza facilities and construction of new Travel Plaza facilities at the Beckley and Bluestone sites. This includes buildings, parking lots, fueling, and site lighting. Results may also be heard via teleconference (Microsoft Teams) by dialing this number and entering the participant code: (816) 702-6618, 785105896#. Proposals must be made via website in the manner designated in the specifications, and must be accompanied by a Cashier's or Certified Check or Bid Bond in favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, For an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Proposal or $2,000 Whichever is the Greater, and must be delivered to the office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306 on or before the day and hour named. Bid bonds may instead be submitted electronically via website. Any Bid That is Not Accompanied by a Bid Bond Delivered Electronically via website or a Cashier's Check, a Certified Check, or a Bid Bond Delivered at the Place Designated Above on or Before the Day and Hour Named Will Be Considered Irregular. All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals submitted, and to waive any or all formalities in bidding, as it may deem in its best interest.
