Chestnut Street Water Main Improvements

The work includes the following approximate quantities of major items: 935 Lft Water Main 16" Directional Drilled 3 Each Manhole Structures Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, money order, or bid bond, payable to the owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal, as a proposal guarantee. Proposal guarantee of the bidders under consideration will be returned after approval of the contract by the owner. All others will be returned within 72 hours after the proposal opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and labor and material bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract. Bids are solicited on a unit price basis. Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder with best schedule to fit project timeline (schedule to be submitted with bid). The owner reserves the right to accept any proposal, to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any irregularities in any proposal in the interest of the owner.
