Description The Scope of Work of the project includes, but is not limited to demolition of the existing City Hall, construction of a new, one story, City Hall facility, to be constructed on the Owner's property at 201 West Chastain Blvd, Glencoe, AL 35905 and renovations to the existing Fire Station 1 located at the same address. The proposed City Hall facility contains approximately 6,500 s.f. and will be a wood framed, slab-on-grade structure with wood trusses, aluminum storefront doors and windows, hollow metal frames, prefinished wood doors, commercial door hardware, interior wood stud drywall partitions, interior wood trim, casework, millwork, interior finishes, face brick and E.I.F.S. facade and standing seam metal roof system on wood deck and new mechanical and electrical systems. The renovation of the Fire Station generally consists of moderate renovations to the first floor and "fit out" of the existing second floor to house offices for fire and police personnel, bunk rooms, day room and training room, toilets, shower and mechanical room. New work in the fire station will be interior wood stud drywall partitions, hollow metal frames, prefinished wood doors, commercial door hardware, casework, interior finishes and modifications to the existing electrical and mechanical systems. Both facilities will have new fire protection systems and emergency generators. The Work also consists of site clearing/demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements (concrete and flex paving, curb and gutter, fencing, walks and lighting).
