Description | Bidder shall provide qualified Engineering, labor, equipment, and tools necessary to service, test, vacuum, dress, undress, de-gas, filter, paint, pull oil / gas samples and provide test results, re-gasket, maintenance, electric substation transformers, OCB’s, GCB’s or other electrical apparatus used in the delivery of electric service by GP&L/ TMPA on an as needed basis or in the event of an electric system failure or emergency within GPL/ TMPA service area in Garland TX, Nevada TX, Lavon TX, Greenville TX, Denton TX, Bryan TX, Carlos TX, McCamey TX and Ponder TX. Response to a request for service is required within two (2) hours. Mobilization of labor and equipment for system failure shall be within four (4) hours of notification. The annual contract will be issued for the amount of $1,000,000.00 with a contract period of one (1) year or the expenditure of $1,000,000.00 whichever comes first. All, part or none of the contract may be used during a contract period. The annual contract will have four (4) optional renewals from the original contract period. Renewals will be made in strict accordance with the original and will be based solely upon the option and agreement between both City and contractor. Either party dissenting will terminate the contract with its initial specified term. Certificates of insurance and signed indemnification forms must be delivered to the City of Garland Purchasing Department prior to beginning work. It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure that coverage remains in constant effect during the contract period. |
