Rehabilitation of Kings Highway Bridge over PATCO

THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED TO THIS SUBSECTION OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: The work includes rehabilitation of Kings Highway Bridge. The work to be performed by the Contractor shall include but not limited to the following: 1. Installing temporary shielding to prevent debris from falling onto the tracks as needed. 2. Performing concrete deck repairs. 3. Performing concrete sidewalk repairs. 4. Reconstructing deck joints as shown on the plans. 5. Repairing concrete headers as shown on the plans. 6. Milling 1” of reinforced concrete deck surface. 7. Installing a 1½” thick layer of Polyester Polymer Concrete (PPC) overlay to the deck surface. 8. Restriping the deck to match existing striping. 9. Remove temporary shielding, traffic control measures, and restoring site.
