Repair of Bridge #460024 (CR 2302 over Fanning Bayou)

The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified vendors to repair Bridge #460024 (CR 2302 over Fanning Bayou). Repairs include cleaning and repairing of delaminated and spalled areas in the concrete located within the substructure and superstructure of the bridge. Awarded Vendor is responsible making repairs as identified in the March 2, 2021 FDOT Bridge Inspection Report. Vendor is required to comply with all FDOT Specification and all material must be on the FDOT Qualified Products List. The project is being funded by a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Small County Outreach Program Bridge Grant (SCOP-B). It is imperative that Bidders examine and become familiar with the SCOP established by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Funding for the project has been made possible through this grant and is contingent on strict conformance to the guidelines set forth by FDOT. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CDT) Monday, July 11, 2022. The County Purchasing Department will be the only point of contact for this ITB. Under no circumstances may a bidder contact any County Commissioner, County Administrator, or County employee concerning this ITB until after award. Any such contact may result in disqualification as per Bay County Code Section 2-124. The Prime Vendor or Sub-contractor shall be qualified in, under Rule Chapter 14-22, Florida Administrative Code, the following major classes of work: 1) Minor Bridge and 2) Concrete Rehabilitation (Spall Repair). Bids may be deemed nonresponsive if not accompanied by proof of State of Florida License.
