Description | MARTA is seeking bids from Firms to install new shelters, kiosks and benches, construct graded slopes and retaining walls and other work related to the ART project. All questions regarding this IFB should be submitted in accordance with the IFB. If you need additional information, please contact Ms. Charlette Davison Moore, Senior Contract Specialist, at 404-848-4207 Procurement Questions; Prohibited Contacts: Any questions regarding this procurement must be submitted in writing to MARTA's contact person, Ms. Charlette Davison Moore via electronic mail cdavison@itsmarta.com, on or before October 18, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (local time). Questions submitted after the designated period may not be considered by MARTA Each Bidder must submit a Bid Security with their bid submission. The bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, a certified check, or a bid bond, or a combination thereof and made payable to the order of MARTA in the amount of 5% of the Bidder's "Bid Total" located on Form 3 of this IFB, which shall constitute security for such Bid. All checks shall be returned to all unsuccessful Bidders within thirty (30) calendar days after award of the IFB. MARTA reserves the right to reject any bid or all bids or to waive any technical defect in a bid before or after the Bid Deadline Payment and Performance Bonds: Proponent must, prior to or simultaneously with the receipt of the Notice to Proceed, at its own expense, deliver to MARTA a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the final total construction price and naming MARTA as co-obligee and issued by a surety company or companies The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority ("MARTA") operates the twelfth largest transit system in North America, providing bus, rail and paratransit services in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area. MARTA transports over 500,000 people in the City of Atlanta and counties of Clayton, DeKalb and Fulton daily. MARTA has approximately 4,540 employees. |
