A Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid or an Annual Bid Bond Is Required Prior to Bid Opening. For state/federal aid projects, the prime contractor must be on the Kansas Department of Transportation's pre-qualified contractors list The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Please note the following items: - The work rate has been increased to 4,000 sf (see #3 below) - Timeframe for notice to property owners has been changed (see #14 below) - Liquidated damages have been added for unnecessary damages to trees (see #16a below
