Public Works Compound Building D HVAC Replacement and Insulation

Contractor to replace (2) HVAC units and Insulation at Public Works Compound Building D. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor and material cost associated with the HVAC units. 1. Furnish all labor and material to replace 2 (two) HVAC units. 2. Unit to include the following specifications: 3. Packaged unit 4. 5 tons cooling 5. 60,000 BTU Heating 6. 14 SEER, 12 EER, 8 HSPF 7. 10 kW Electric Heater 8. Single Stage 9. Minimum warranty 5 years parts, 5 year compressor, 3 years labor 10. Inspect ducting and repair any deficiencies/air leaks 11. Contractor responsible for reconnecting existing condensate lines 12. Seal any areas of duct which are not sealed. 13. Contractor to start unit, verify proper operation 14. Demolition of replacement of ceiling grid and tile in 2 areas. - Area 1 measures 1589 square feet, with 1080 square feet grid and 509 square feet hard ceiling; -Area 2 measures 1440 square feet, all grid ceiling. Hard ceiling to remain as is. Replace with 2’ x 4’ Armstrong 733 tiles, Armstrong Prelude 15/16” grid system in white. USG equivalent acceptable.
