Oak Grove Cemetery Water Line Replacement

Project Description : To replacement of existing water lines and spigots in approximately in the back lots 3 acres of land in the Oak Grove Cemetery, off Pacific Avenue, Oak Bluffs. Questions regarding the scope of work should be directed to Highway Superintendent Richard Combra, JR at 508-693-0072 All bids must be in a sealed marked envelope as Oak Grove Cemetery Water Line Replacement The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment and labor to perform all required work at the designated site. Any Town grounds and surrounding property damaged by the selected contractor will be restored to its original state, at the cost to the selected contractor. To be Coordinated with the Highway Superintendent with anticipated completion by May 31, 2024 The Cemetery Commission is anticipating that the successful contractor will replace the existing water lines and install new spigots (25+) similar to existing spigots in Map 12 Lot 144 of the same cemetery Payment A 50% payment bond will be required if the contract is more than $25,000.00 (MGL chapter 149 section 29) and be received upon execution of the contract. The lowest responsible and eligible company will be required to furnish certification of labor harmony and that all employees to be employed at the worksite will have successfully completed a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA for a minimum of 10 hours. All bids must be signed by an authorized individual(s). The right is reserved by the Town of Oak Bluffs to reject or accept any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
