Fire Stations 34 and 44 Wind Retrofit-HMGP

The project is to retrofit the buildings with high velocity hurricane zone (HVHZ) large-missile impact garage doors at fire stations 34 & 44; install new impact rated windows, doors and new roof on fire station 44. The project shall provide protections against a 170 MPH winds or the wind speed protection and impact requirements indicated by the effective Florida Building Code at the time permits are issued. Wind protections shall be provided on any other opening such as vents, louvers and exhaust fans. All installations shall be completed in strict compliance with Federal, State and Local applicable Rules and Regulations. The local municipal or county building department will inspect and certify installation according to the manufacture specifications.
