Hillsborough River Dam Engineering Services

Services may include but not be limited to performing intermediate and formal inspection of facilities (per Federal Emergency Management Agency guidelines); updating the existing operations and maintenance manual; providing advice and guidance regarding technical aspects of dam operations; performing risk analyses; updating the City’s Safety Program; performing surveying traditional and non-traditional); performing modeling of the river’s watershed and downstream reaches; performing feasibility studies and design services; preparing construction documents; performing construction phase engineering services; securing regulatory permits; providing geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering services; performing instrumentation and control analyses and design; developing geographical information systems data; evaluating and providing recommendations for improvement of security features; assisting in the refinement of an existing operator training program; updating existing flood inundation maps and emergency action plan; conducting peer reviews of the work of others, including, but not limited to the inspection and monitoring of facilities; identifying grants and assisting in the pursuit of same; and conducting other miscellaneous dam related services The services are anticipated for a five-year period for a total of $1,000,000
